In the last seven days 687 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – up 55 (8.7%) week on week.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 347.1 new cases per 100,000 people (731 cases in the week to 8 August). That’s up from 261.6 in the previous seven days (551 cases in the week to 1 August).
The English national average is 299.2, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 377.5.
