Thursday (belated) update: 550 new coronavirus cases in York and North Yorkshire
Here are the coronavirus figures for Thursday (14 January) – which were only updated by the government late last night.
Another 129 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York on Thursday).
It takes the cumulative total to 9,722 – giving an overall infection rate of 4,615.9 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days there have been 1,200 positive Covid-19 tests in York – a decrease of 81 (-6.3%) week on week.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 657.6 new cases per 100,000 people.
The English national average is 622.3, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 318.7.
There have been three more coronavirus-related deaths in the York council area, and 19 in the last seven days (up nine).

In North Yorkshire, there were 421 new coronavirus cases today, taking the cumulative total to 22,587 – an infection rate of 3,654.5 cases per 100K.
There are 1,375 cases in Ryedale (up 26), 3,575 in Selby (up 58), 5,771 in Harrogate (up 77), 3,114 in Hambleton (up 90), 4,633 in Scarborough (up 38), 1,916 in Richmondshire (up 97) and 2,203 in Craven (up 35).
There were two more coronavirus-related deaths reported by York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust on Thursday.
That takes the total to 412 across the trust (York and Scarborough Hospitals).
