Sunday update: Two more coronavirus deaths in York NHS Trust

There were two more coronavirus-related deaths reported at the York NHS Trust today (Sunday, 15 November).

There were also 52 more confirmed Covid-19 cases in York.

This takes the cumulative total to 4,505 – giving an overall infection rate of 2,138.9 cases per 100,000 people.

In the last seven days there have been 353 positive Covid-19 tests in York – which is down by 29 (-7.6%).

The provisional rate for the last seven days is 161.90 new coronavirus cases per 100,000 people in York, as at 14 November. The latest validated rate is 174.2 in the seven days to 8 November.

In North Yorkshire, there were 261 new confirmed Covid-19 cases today, taking the cumulative total to 11,827 – an infection rate of 1,913.6 cases per 100K.

There are 633 cases in Ryedale (up 13), 1,738 in Selby (up 49), 3,357 in Harrogate (up 57), 1,572 in Hambleton (up 34), 2,372 in Scarborough (up 59), 953 in Richmondshire (up 31) and 1,153 in Craven (up 18).

There were two more coronavirus-related deaths reported by York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust today. On weekends, we can’t check whether they were at York or Scarborough.

That takes the total to 256. We don’t have an up-to-date breakdown of that figure between York and Scarborough Hospitals.
