That takes the cumulative total to 12,471 – giving an overall infection rate of 5,921.1 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days 64 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – up 18 (39.1%) week on week.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 25.6 new cases per 100,000 people (54 new cases).
The English national average is 37.4, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 42.
There have been no coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area in the last seven days.

In North Yorkshire, there were 30 new coronavirus cases today, taking the cumulative total to 30,431 – an infection rate of 4,923.7 cases per 100K.
There are 1,897 cases in Ryedale (no change), 5,270 in Selby (up nine), 7,815 in Harrogate (up ten), 4,267 in Hambleton (up three), 5,649 in Scarborough (up two), 2,663 in Richmondshire (up three) and 2,870 in Craven (up three).
