Sunday update: Another 364 coronavirus cases confirmed in York and North Yorkshire

Another 56 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York today (Sunday, 3 October).
That takes the cumulative case total to 22,390 – giving an overall infection rate of 10,610.8 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days 514 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – up 12 (2.4%) week on week.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 238.8 new cases per 100,000 people (504 cases).
The English national average is 340, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 427.4.
There were no coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area reported today, and three in the last seven days (as at 3 October).
