Sunday update: Another 130 coronavirus cases confirmed in York

A further 130 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York today (Sunday, 24 October).

That takes the cumulative case total to 24,487 – giving an overall infection rate of 11,604.6 cases per 100,000 people.

In the last seven days 875 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – up 186 (27.0%) week on week.

The rolling seven-day rate in York is 378.7 new cases per 100,000 people (799 cases in the week to 19 October).

The English national average is 482.9, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 476.5.
