Saturday update: Another two coronavirus-related deaths in York

Another 120 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York today (Saturday, 19 February).

That takes the cumulative case total to 53,849 – giving an overall infection rate of 25,519.4 cases per 100,000 people.

In the last seven days 908 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – down 435 (-32.4%) week on week.

The rolling seven-day rate in York is 504.2 new cases per 100,000 people (1,064 cases in the week to 15 February).

The English national average is 503.5, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 387.3.

There were two coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area reported today, and three in the last seven days (as at 19 February).
