Saturday update: Another 127 coronavirus cases confirmed in York

A further 127 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York today (Saturday, 13 November).

That takes the cumulative case total to 26,971 – giving an overall infection rate of 12,721.6 cases per 100,000 people.

In the last seven days 834 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – up 18 (2.2%) week on week.

The rolling seven-day rate in York is 368.7 new cases per 100,000 people.

The English national average is 336.8, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 339.9.

There were no coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area reported today, and two in the last seven days (as at 13 November).

At weekends, the NHS don’t issue updates on the number of coronavirus-related deaths in hospitals.

There were four coronavirus patients admitted to the York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust trust on 7 November, and 73 patients in hospital on 9 November. In the previous seven days, 35 Covid patients were admitted – down 20.
