A further 97 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York today (Saturday, 6 November).
That takes the cumulative case total to 26,137 – giving an overall infection rate of 12,386.5 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days 816 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – down 148 (15.4%) week on week.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 437.4 new cases per 100,000 people (923 cases in the week to 2 November).
The English national average is 407.4, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 420.3.
There were no coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area reported today, and four in the last seven days (as at 6 November).
