Saturday update: 96 more coronavirus cases recorded in York
Another 96 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York today (Saturday, 26 June).
That takes the cumulative case total to 13,319 – giving an overall infection rate of 6,323.8 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days 513 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – up 297 (137.5%) week on week.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 170.5 new cases per 100,000 people (359 cases in the week to 21 June).
The English national average is 111.8, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 129.1.
There have been no coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area reported today, and none in the last seven days (as at 26 June).

In North Yorkshire, there were 184 new coronavirus cases today, taking the cumulative total to 31,899 – an infection rate of 5,161.2 cases per 100K.
There are 1,974 cases in Ryedale (up 12), 5,582 in Selby (up 21), 8,253 in Harrogate (up 49), 4,399 in Hambleton (up 22), 5,797 in Scarborough (up 39), 2,825 in Richmondshire (up 22) and 3,069 in Craven (up 19).
NHS England no longer issues information about hospital deaths at weekends.
There was one coronavirus patient admitted to the trust on 20 June, and six in the previous seven days (up three).
