Road closed at Scotch Corner roundabout: Traffic heavy on the A1

A road has been closed after a crash in North Yorkshire this morning (Wednesday, 15 May).

North Yorkshire Police said at 6.59am: “Traffic alert – Scotch Corner. We’re currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision on the roundabout where the A6055 meets the A66.

“The A6055 is currently closed and traffic is heavy at Scotch Corner (Junction 53 of the A1).”
