Power cuts affecting homes in York and North Yorkshire

We were warned by the Met Office about potential power cuts.

And sure enough, there are hundreds of homes without power today after the winds and snow.

These postcodes are among those hit:

• YO24 2UD Dringhouses, York: 60 properties affected
• YO41 4AW Elvington: 100 premises affected
• YO8 6TQ South Duffield, Selby: 2,650 premises affected
