More pix from York – Skeldergate remains dry

Our photographer Richard McDougall is out and about in York this morning taking a look at the state of the River Ouse.

According to the latest reading from the Viking Recorder, the Ouse stood at 3.75m at 10am. The forecast is still for it to peak at 5.22m at midday tomorrow (Tuesday).

Skeldergate remains dry. There are sandbags and pumps at Tower Gardens.

In general, though, York is open as normal.
