Monday update: York coronavirus rate continues to fall
A further 77 coronavirus cases were confirmed in York today (Monday, 13 September).
That takes the cumulative case total to 21,073 – giving an overall infection rate of 9,986.6 cases per 100,000 people.
In the last seven days 464 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – down 90 (-16.2%) week on week.
The rolling seven-day rate in York is 218.9 new cases per 100,000 people (462 cases in the week to 9 September). That’s down from 265.4 in the previous seven days (560 cases in the week to 2 September).
The English national average is 332.2, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 386.2.
There were no coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area reported today, and one in the last seven days (as at 13 September).
