Monday update: Another 132 coronavirus cases reported in York

A further 132 coronavirus cases were reported in York today (Monday, 25 April) – including all those reported since Friday.

That takes the cumulative case total to 64,535 – giving an overall infection rate of 30,583.6 cases per 100,000 people.

In the last seven days 797 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – up 426 (114.8%) week on week.

The rolling seven-day rate in York is 272 new cases per 100,000 people (574 cases). It was 334.1 on Friday.

The English national average is 227.3, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 229.5.

There have been three coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area in the last seven days (down one). The total number of deaths in the city is 476.
