Friday update: Three areas of York now have fewer than ten reported coronavirus cases

That takes the cumulative case total to 64,704 – giving an overall infection rate of 30,663.7 cases per 100,000 people.

In the last seven days 301 people in York have tested positive for Covid-19 – down 364 (-54.7%) week on week.

The rolling seven-day rate in York is 200.9 new cases per 100,000 people (424 cases). It was 211.4 yesterday.

The English national average is 189.6, the Yorkshire and Humber average is 189.4.

There have been five coronavirus deaths in the City of York Council area in the last seven days (up two). The total number of deaths in the city is 479.
