Crash on main road near York causing congestion

A crash is causing problems on a busy road south of York tonight (Tuesday, 28 November).

It has happened on the A19 near Escrick, close to its junction with Main Street.

The AA is reporting heavy traffic both ways due to the collision.

The congestion is particularly bad northbound, and is slow all the way to the A64 York outer ring road.
