Crash on A64 cleared

The crash that was causing problems on the A64 today (Wednesday, 27 December) has been cleared.

As we reported earlier, the incident was on the eastbound carriageway of the road near Tadcaster, close to the junction with the A659.

It had partially blocked the carriageway. Now, thought, the road is clear and traffic is flowing freely again.
