Work to remove a large tree next to a main road in York could cause some disruption for motorists.
The ash tree at the rear of 43 Huntington Road is due to be felled by Castle Tree Surgeons tomorrow (Saturday, 13 August) starting at 8am.
Owner Tony Castle is asking for motorists to be patient. He says road and pedestrian access will remain open, but there could be some delays as the work is carried out.
The tree has succumbed to ash dieback disease, which has been a major cause of tree removals in York recently, Tony said.
It is a large and mature tree which is growing next to Grove Terrace Lane.
Safely felling and removing the tree in such a built up area will be a challenging operation.
