Keep Your Pet is doing a Christmas Charity Santa Sleigh event in York on Friday 9 December and they are looking for a volunteer to be Santa.
For many older and vulnerable people their pets are an important part of their life. Founded in 2012, Keep Your Pet is an Age UK York service which aims to help people in the greater York area to look after their pets during times of ill health or other difficulties.
They need someone, male or female, between 5:30pm – 8pm around the Beckfield Lane area of York.
The Sleigh which Santa sits on and the vehicle pulling it are provided by the Rotary Club of York Ainsty.
