Steve Backshall will be making a splash around the UK with his new tour – and he’s bringing the sea to York.
Steve Backshall: Ocean will come to York Barbican on 10 April 2022.
Billed as a ‘love letter to the most exciting environment on our planet’, the Deadly 60 presenter will bring stunts, experiments and cutting edge science to the stage to show what we need to do to save our seas.

And there might even be some guest appearances on stage…
Steve Backshall said: “It’s been five years since I last did a tour here in the UK, and we’ll be back bigger and bolder than ever!
“This time the show is full of stunts, tricks and experiments, looking to bring marine themes to life on stage.”
Tickets will go on pre-sale with Ticketmaster at 8am on Thursday 4 November and on general sale at 10am on Friday 5 November via the York Barbican website.
