Singer-songwriter Foy Vance has announced a UK and US tour for 2022 – and he’s coming to York.
Foy Vance will be playing York Barbican on Friday 25 March 2022.
The tour has been announced ahead of releasing his fourth studio album, Signs Of Life, which will be released on 10 September.
The new album will be a powerful one, as Vance was struggling with an addiction to alcohol and painkillers at the time of writing.
The Northern Irish musician has toured the globe with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Snow Patrol and Sir Elton John, as well as his own solo headline tours.
His second full-length album, Joy of Nothing, released in 2013 on Glassnote Records, won the inaugural Northern Ireland Music Prize.
In 2015 Vance became the second signing to Gingerbread Man Records, Ed Sheeran’s label division within Atlantic Records.
Tickets go on sale on Friday 17 September at 10am from the York Barbican website.
