Two huge stars in music and comedy are coming to York.
Soft Cell singer Marc Almond has added a date to his rescheduled UK tour at York Barbican. Marc will be performing all his biggest hits and more at the venue on Friday 21 October 2022.
It has also been announced that comedian Tom Allen will be making York Barbican audiences laugh on Sunday 28 May 2023.
Marc will be singing songs from his last top 20 solo album, Chaos and a Dancing Star, which was released in March 2020 – plus many favourites from his extensive catalogue and his biggest hits.
And there may also be a few surprises in store!
“The fans have been so understanding and patient through the endless rescheduling due to the pandemic,” said Marc. “Now we have confirmed these dates I can’t wait to get back on stage.”
Tickets for Marc Almond in Concert will go on general sale on Friday 27 May at 10am via the York Barbican website.
