Just booked: Marti Pellow to perform at York Barbican
Singing star Marti Pellow is coming to York.
It was announced on YorkMix Radio this morning that the Wet Wet Wet frontman will bring his Greatest Hits tour to York Barbican on 3 May 2022.
Over lockdown, the Scottish singer performed ‘Lochdoon Sessions’ for his fans – with 12 million people tuning in.
He released a new album, Stargazer, in March 2021 – and now he’s heading back out onto the road.
“Throughout lockdown I was inundated by beautiful messages from fans asking me to please organise a tour once we come out of these terrible times,” Marti said.
“This brand new ‘Greatest Hits’ tour is about finally being able to come together to celebrate love, life, and remember those we may have lost along the way.
“Get your dancing shoes on – it’s time to party with Marti!”
Tickets go on sale this Friday (8 October) at 10am, and can be purchased via the York Barbican website.
