Move over Tiger Woods – there’s some new kids on the green!
The Pike Hills Golf Club, located on Tadcaster Road, hosted a Junior Fun Day which took place on Saturday 24 July. It was a great success, with 22 budding young golfers taking part.
The day consisted of six fun games, followed by some well deserved hot dogs and burgers!
A prize presentation took place with Vice Captain, Graham Bootland, handing out a prize to everyone who took part. Individual prizes were also awarded by Lady Captain, Linda Whaley.

After months of lockdown, junior coaching was able to resume at Pike Hills Golf Club in May, which was met with enthusiasm by both children and parents.
Pike Hills Golf Club is an eighteen hole parkland course which is built around the Askham Nature Reserve. The club first formed in 1904 and has been at its current location since 1946.
