Is this your pony? Appeal after animal found in Tang Hall

Quit horsing around!

That was the message from North Yorkshire Police today after they discovered this fine animal wandering around Tang Hall in York.

Officers expect to encounter the unexpected on their beat, but this may have been a first.

The York North Neighbourhood Police Team tweeted pictures of the pony, and asked: “Does anyone recognise this lost pony? Found in the Tang Hall area and helping us with our enquiries this morning!

“Any information please ring 101 quoting Log NYP -26022021- 0042.”
