A fire broke out in Easingwold, near York, last night and crews from across the city were called in to deal with it.
It started in one of the flats in this property (Pictured) in the town and quickly took hold.
One person, who was in the flat, was taken to hospital for treatment for burns. It’s not clear how serious they are at this stage. Another two people were treated for smoke inhalation.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is taking place.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: “Six crews started tackling the fire on the second floor of the building.
“The fire then spread through parts of the third and fourth floor, including the roof void.
“Crews worked with hose reel jets throughout the building and the aerial ladder platform to access and fight the fire from a height.”
