Plans to celebrate the installation of the sculpture of Gerald, the Bengal cat, famous with visitors and locals in York, are on hold for now.
It was due to take place at the Holy Trinity Church, Goodramgate, a location that Gerald liked to explore.
The plan was to do it at 12 Noon on Tuesday 31 August.
Gerald’s friends and family are incredibly grateful to special guest, the Yorkshire Vet, Julian Norton, who will attend but for personal reasons now can’t make that date.
So the ceremony has been postponed.
YorkMix will update this story as and when new information is received.
