Inquest opens into death of York man, 22

The inquest has opened into the death of a young man from York.

Jordan Jake Harris died on 26 September 2021, aged 22.

Opening his inquest in Northallerton, North Yorkshire coroner Jon Heath said Mr Harris died at his home on Stuart Road in Acomb.

He was found there unresponsive. Paramedics attended, and death was certified at the scene.

The provisional cause of death at post mortem was said to be combined drug toxicity.

Mr Harris, who was single, was identified by his father. The inquest was adjourned until a date to be fixed.
