The Ryedale Festival is returning with a range of concerts in July – and this year the festival is taking over York for a day of family-friendly music.
For 2023, the festival takes place between 14 and 30 July in many venues around North Yorkshire, including a dedicated day in York on Tuesday 25 July.
The Ryedale Festival welcomes performers from all over the world in a wide and distinctive programme, and in York there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy – from a magical musical experience for babies and young children to the vibrant voices of the National Youth Choir of Scotland.
Christopher Glynn, artistic director of the Ryedale Festival said: “This year’s programme converges on the beautiful city of York for a day of events that the whole family can enjoy.
“The festival is all about quality, innovation and enjoyability – about sharing great music with more people every year – and this day in York exemplifies that. I look forward to welcoming audiences to York to take part in the music.”
