Indie rocker Miles Kane to play the York Barbican in March 2014
Indie rocker Miles Kane will hit York Barbican next spring. The musician, best known for fronting The Last Shadow Puppets with Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys, Kane is now taking his own band on tour.
He hits the Barbican on Wednesday, March 19.
Already working on new material for the follow up to his critically acclaimed second album Don’t Forget Who You Are, Miles will be playing songs from that album plus debut Colour Of The Trap. Expect to hear hits such as Inhaler, First Of My Kind and Come Closer.
The Merseysider with the looks of a young Paul McCartney has supported some of the biggest indie bands in the business, having opened for the likes of The Courteeners, Beady Eye and Arctic Monkeys. His albums feature some impressive collaborations, including Noel Gallagher and Professor Green.
Tickets for the York Barbican show go on sale on Friday, December 12 at 10am, priced £17.50. For more details visit the Barbican website.
