Part of a club in York could become an ice cream parlour under new plans.
The proposals are for the St Lawrences Working Mens Club site on Lawrence Street.
It would see “external and internal alterations to allow the formation of an ice cream shop and use of part of ground floor as ice cream parlour,” according to the application.
Plans show a counter area at the front and a seating area at the back.
The development would create two part time jobs, according to planning documents.
Most recently, number 27 Lawrence Street has been home to the SL27 bar with flats above.
A spokesperson said: “The club will still be open and running with hopefully an ice cream parlour situated at the front of the building which we hope will be a great asset to the community.”
