This is your last chance to nominate a hero for our YorkMix Hero Awards.
If you know someone in your local area that you want to say thank you to and deserves some recognition for making life better where you live – why not nominate them in our Hero Awards?
You’ve not gone long left – as entries close on Friday 6 October at 23:59:00.

The YorkMix Hero Awards 2023 are kindly supported by Yorkshire Profiles – providers of quality assured metal fabrication at the heart of North Yorkshire.
Do you know someone who’s gone above and beyond in advocating for the environment? Or someone who has demonstrated an incredible act of bravery? How about someone who has beaten the odds even in the face of adversity?
Once entries are closed, shortlisted finalists will then be selected by a panel of judges before being announced on Monday 9 October.
There are 11 categories open for nomination.
This year’s categories are:
- The Best Boss Award
- The New Business of the Year Award, with Taylor’s of Acomb
