A giant toy fair is coming to York for the first time this August bank holiday.
Northern Toy Fairs are bringing their ‘mega’ Toy, Train and Sci-Fi Fair to York Sport Centre at University of York on Monday 26 August 2024.
The fair will have a large collection of vintage and modern collectable toys and models – so whether you’re a casual collector or a hardcore enthusiast, they’ll be something for everyone to find.
The fair will run from 10am to 3pm. For those especially keen, there are Early Bird tickets available which will grant you entry from 8am.
Visitors to the fair can expect to find a wide variety of toys – such as Hornby Trains, Lego, Tri-ang, Matchbox Cars, Funko Pops, Comics, and Aeroplanes. There will also be lots of TV & Film memorabilia to explore too, like Star Wars, Disney, Doctor Who and James Bond.
Whether you’re looking for a new addition to your own collection or a gift for a loved one – or maybe even a nostalgic replacement for an old favourite toy – this is an event you don’t want to miss.
There is also free parking onsite and refreshments available at the event.
Tickets start from £3. Cash is strongly recommended as it is cash only for entry, and the majority of dealers only take cash.
