Emergency services are at the scene of a house fire in Haxby.
Two fire crews, one from York and one from Huntington, were called out to the fire at a detached house after 4pm today.
The house is on York Road, close to the junction with Holly Tree Lane.
They were joined by the turntable ladder from Harrogate.
Police are also on the scene to control traffic in the area.
It is not believed that there are any casualties in the fire, which was put out by 5pm.
