A popular coastal hotel in North Yorkshire has undergone an elegant transformation.
In the heart of Robin Hood’s Bay, Hotel Victoria has opened seven new bedrooms, including dog-friendly and family-friendly options.
Occupying an iconic location on the Heritage Coast of the North York Moors, the now 30-bedroom hotel offers guests a variety of elegantly decorated bedrooms, many of which boast sea views.
All seven of the new bedrooms are dog-friendly, making them perfect for pampered pooches. The hotel is also in the process of creating a new accessible suite, which is set to be complete by the end of April.
These latest renovations are part of the significant investment following the hotel’s acquisition by businessman Andrew Long in November 2023.

The investment has seen a complete transformation of the hotel’s bedrooms, dining and entertainment areas including the all-new Osborne’s Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge, traditional Loxley Pub, and the hotel’s iconic sea view terrace.
Hotel Victoria is now part of Long’s expanding Loxley Collection portfolio, which also includes properties in Lincoln and Cornwall.
In addition, the hotel now offers bespoke wedding and celebration packages, with the option to hire bedrooms, entertainment and dining spaces for special occasions.
The upgrades have already been well received by satisfied guests, with an impressive 4.5 rating on Tripadvisor and Google.

Owner of Hotel Victoria Andrew Long said: “We are delighted to mark the growth of Hotel Victoria with the opening of seven new bedrooms within Captain Quarters as part of our refurbishment programme.
“We have been thrilled with the feedback we have received from guests, visitors and residents of Robin Hood’s Bay since the reveal of the renovation of the hotel and Captain’s Quarters South last summer.
“We are confident that the addition of our newest rooms will allow even more guests, both past and new, to experience the magic of Robin Hood’s Bay.”
