Hoodie-wearing youths attack man, 60, near York bridge
A man suffered facial injuries after being attacked by youths last night (Thursday).
It happened around 11pm close to Scarborough Bridge.
At least two young males, both wearing hoodies, assaulted the victim, aged 60.
He suffered facial injuries in the attack, which happened on the Clifton side of the bridge.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers are appealing for witnesses and information including details of anybody seen in the area at the time.
“It is believed there were at least two young males involved in the incident, both wearing hoodies, but no further details are known regarding their description.”
The victim did not require any medical treatment.
