Police are investigating a homophobic attack on a new shop in York.
A pride flag was ripped down from the outside of This Shop Is So Gay on Parliament Street.
It caused damage to the flagpole and brick work of the building.
It happened between 6pm on Saturday 22 March and 10am the following day.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for information if anyone saw any activity in that area between those hours.”

This Shop Is So Gay was opened earlier this month by brother and sister Claire and Xander Platz.
Both gay themselves, they opened Sherlock Holmes Imaginarium on Low Petergate, which stocks “chic products for LGBTQIA+ folk and our allies”.
They told YorkMix that This Shop Is So Gay was opened after the Low Petergate shop was subjected to homophobia, but added that “the majority of people that come in are so nice”.
