A home was inundated by floodwaters in Boroughbridge last night.
Firefighters were called to the property on Bridge Street at 7.43pm.
The water inside had reached 2ft when they arrived.
Crews used a pump to bring the water level down.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews assisted the occupant to make contact with the Environment Agency to organise a pump being delivered to assist with continued flood defences.”
