They had already announced a national tour taking them from Inverness to London and most points in between.
But one city was conspicuously absent from the Shed Seven tour – their own home town, York.
Today, though, the chartbusting band revealed they are to play two very special intimate gigs in the city to kick the whole thing off.
Putting the icing on the cake of their #Shedcember2017 tour, they will play Fibbers on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18.
Ticket sale details
The band also announced an intimate show in the capital to go alongside their gigs at the O2 Brixton Academy.
This will be at the Scala in London – where the Sheds shot the artwork for their first new studio album in 16 years, Instant Pleasures.
Tickets to that and the Fibbers gigs go on sale on Friday at 9am (September 29).
But if you pre-order the album from here you’ll get first access to tickets on Wednesday.
Anyone who has already pledged will automatically receive the pre order link too.

The Fibbers gigs are the first chance to see the Sheds perform their new material live, including the just-released single Room In My House, which has been garnering rave reviews.
The York shows will be a brilliant curtain raiser to the tour. They are quickly followed by a show in Inverness on November 20, followed by another 22 gigs across the country ending at Manchester Academy on the day before Christmas Eve.
As the Sheds say themselves… “Come and get intimate with us!”
