This year’s categories are:
- The Best Boss Award
- The New Business of the Year Award, with DBD Cleaning
- The Environmental Hero Award, with Latimer Homes
- The Outstanding Bravery Award, with White Rose Finance
- The Educator of the Year Award, with York Sport
- The Incredible Child Award, with The Fancy Dance Shop
- The “In the Face of Adversity” Award
- The Outstanding Talent Award
- The Charity Fundraiser of the Year Award
- The Neighbour of the Year Award, with Hayley Owen
- The Parent or Guardian of the Year Award
Do you know an educator who goes above and beyond, someone who has fallen on hard times and beaten the odds, an inspiration at work, a business startup who has made a real difference? We want to hear from you!
A 12th category, the People’s Choice Award for Charitable Person of the Year, will be open for public vote nearer the date of the awards ceremony.
Entries close on Friday 6 October at 23:59:00. Shortlisted finalists will then be selected by a panel of judges before being announced on Monday 9 October.
The award ceremony will then take place at York Racecourse on Thursday 26 October.
