Police are searching for the car and driver involved in a collision which left a woman cyclist injured.
It happened on the road next to York Sport Village at the University of York campus just before 6am last Monday, 15 May.
A woman in her 20s was riding a bike near to the sports centre when she was in collision with a dark-coloured car.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We believe the car continued on towards the university campus.
“The cyclist suffered several minor injuries.
“We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In particular, officers are appealing for information about the vehicle involved, which did not stop following the collision.”
