The fiancé of missing woman Victoria Taylor has made a plea for her safe return.
Victoria, 34, was last seen on Monday at her home in Malton which she shares with partner Matthew Grant Williams and their two-year-old daughter.
Police have been searching the River Derwent after some of her belongings were found near the water.
Matthew has called on Victoria “to come home to Nancy and be the mum that you know you are and can still be”.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, he held his daughter and said: “All she wanted was to give this bairn the best. She didn’t have the best of upbringings and she wanted to give this child a better one.
“I just hope she comes back.”
His words come after Victoria’s sisters said yesterday: “Emma and Heidi issued a statement.
They said: “We currently feel sick, distraught and lost following the disappearance of Vixx, but we are trying to focus on the children in the family to maintain a sense of routine at this difficult time.”
Victoria was seen walking up Commercial Street towards the library.
And she was caught on CCTV at 11.35am on Monday buying a Dr Pepper and bottle of water in the Marks & Spencer shop attached to the BP garage on Welham Road, Norton.
Police drones have been scouring Malton while officers in kayaks have been seen on the River Derwent. The underwater search team has also been deployed.
Victoria’s friend Charlotte Cundill, who is an admin on The Search For Victoria Taylor Facebook group, posted today (Saturday): “We’re onto day 6 without seeing your beautiful smile.
“Day 6 of searching, crying, remembering as much as we can in the search to find you. There’s nearly 5 and half thousand people following this page to bring you home, which I will forever be grateful for.
“Never in a million years did I think I could get it to blow up this far.
“You are so loved, more than you will ever know. I am on it day and night, as are others.
“There’s people out every night in the hope to catch a glimpse of news of your arrival home. WE WILL GET YOU HOME.”
