Missing teenager Kiera found after public appeal

Police searching for missing teenager Kiera Meldrum said she was found in York on Tuesday afternoon (December 16).
They thanked the public for their help tracing her.

York police are asking for the public’s help to trace a teenager who has gone missing.
Kiera Meldrum, 15, was reported missing from Stamford Bridge on Sunday (December 14).
Officers believe that Kiera is in the York area. She was seen in the Clifton Moor area at around 4pm on Monday (December 15).
The police need to trace Kiera to make sure she is OK. They are asking people to report sightings of anyone matching her description.
She is described as white, around 5ft 1in tall, with a medium build, and red hair.
Kiera is thought to be wearing a black Adidas tracksuit top, with gold stripes and a large logo on the back, blue ripped jeans and light brown Ugg boots.
Anyone who knows where Kiera is or has seen anyone matching her description should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1 – and pass information to the Force Control Room.
