Have you discovered this Christmas market in one of York’s most iconic buildings?
If you want to avoid the crowds on Parliament Street but still want to look round a Christmas market, this might be just what you’re looking for.
Tucked away in The Guildhall, York is the Yorkshire Yuletide Village, Made in Yorkshire’s festive fair – filled with a wide selection of designer makers and local artisans offering unique Christmas gifts.
The Yorkshire Yuletide Village is at The Guildhall until Sunday 17 December.
The fair is free to enter and is open every day from 10am to 4:30pm.
The Yorkshire Yuletide Village also features winners of the Yorkshire Craft Festival – which gave budding crafters the chance to win a space at this festive fair and the opportunity to showcase their work to a wider market.
Tracie Jarvis-Post from Made in Yorkshire said “Our Yorkshire Yuletide Village captures the Christmas spirit perfectly. The Guildhall is a stunning go-to place for shopping in warmth and luxury.
“So many people enjoyed visiting us last year, enjoying festive shopping and then relaxing in the riverside café before heading back out into the bustling streets. We are pleased to be back for the 2023 Christmas period!”
As well as festive shopping, there is also the chance to discover your own creativity through a series of craft workshops run by local artists – such as creating your own felted wreath or metal rose.
