It looks set to turn wet and windy in York tomorrow (Wednesday).
Gusts of 70km per hour (44 mph) are forecast for the city, along with rain showers.
While York and North Yorkshire is not covered by a Met Office weather warning which applies further west, it will be fresh out in our part of the world.
A Met Office forecaster said: “After a brief lull in winds through the early hours of Wednesday, west or north-west winds are expected to increase once more during Wednesday morning, then remain strong for much of the day.”
Happily though, it dries up for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be dry with sunny intervals and temperatures reaching a maximum of 16°C.
