Green bin collection suspended early in the Selby District

Selby District Council says due to operational difficulties they’ve had to suspend green waste collections from this week.

This is earlier than they planned but they say only a small number of properties have been affected and they’d like to apologise for the inconvenience 

They say this is due to issues beyond their control and will allow collection crews to focus on ensuring that household waste and recycling bins are collected as usual in the run up to Christmas and beyond.
