It’s not every day that you see a cat that’s 5ft 5ins tall.
But one has arrived at Give The Dog A Bone, on Fossgate, York. And luckily this one’s friendly!
The quirky gift show is displaying Jellycat Jack, the iconic black-and-white cat mascot for the soft toy brand Jellycat.

Standing at 1.7 metres high, it has to be seen to be believed!
You can see Jellycat Jack on display at Give The Dog A Bone until Monday 17 June.
The display marks the 25th anniversary of the Jellycat brand, with Jack the mascot travelling the world in 2024 to share the joy of Jellycat around the globe.
“We’re thrilled to be asked to host Jack during this leg of his Grand Tour,” says Courtney Birks, manager of Give The Dog A Bone.
“He’s instantly recognisable because his face is printed on every single Jellycat tag and seeing him in person you can’t help but smile straight away.”
Give The Dog A Bone is well known for stocking ‘Jellies’, aka the sweet and sometimes silly soft toys created by the beloved brand.
