Get creative with in York with these new pottery workshops – while drinking a pint!
Pottery studio The Clayrooms are bringing their Pottery @ The Pub workshops to York, where you can have fun with friends and family, learn a new skill, and enjoy a drink at the same time.
Each of the pottery classes have a different theme – from planters to gnomes to ‘rudey-nudeys’.

The workshops will provide all the tools and equipment that you may need, so all you need to do is turn up and prepare to create your own pottery masterpiece.
The first session in York took place at Spark earlier this month, and was a great success with many budding potters unleashing their creativity to make something special.
There are currently three more workshops set to take place in York:
- Wednesday 12 June – make Crazy Animal Planters at Thor’s Tipi, The Principal (6:30-8:30pm)
- Friday 21 June – make Crazy Animal Planters at Forage, Stonegate (7-9pm)
- Wednesday 3 July – make Rudey Nudey Vases at SoJo Bistro, Acomb (6:30-8:30pm)
Each workshop will last two hours. Tickets cost £30, which includes the pottery experience as well as the price of your first drink. So you can enjoy your favourite beverage while making your masterpiece.
