Panto audiences in York are a bountiful lot. Oh yes they are!
Bucket collections were held during four performances of this year’s run of Aladdin at the Grand Opera House. And they raised more than £1,800.
The money will be shared between the Lord Mayor’s charities:
- The York Racial Equality Network
- The York LGBT Forum
- St Nicks, and
- York Civic Trust.
Aladdin was the first panto from a new company, Three Bears Productions. It starred Suzanne Shaw as Princess Jasmine, Paul Sinha in the role of Abanazar, Debbie McGee, Carl Tracey, Frazer Hines as The Emperor and Stuart Wade as Wishee Washee.
